GCCI Chairman Engages Uzbekistan Ambassador to Strengthen Regional Trade
Islamabad – Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) Group Chairman, Mir Naveed Jan Baloch, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Islamabad to explore avenues for enhanced trade and economic cooperation.
During the discussion, Mir Naveed Jan Baloch invited Uzbekistan to utilize Gwadar Port as a strategic hub for Central Asian trade, emphasizing its role in providing cost-effective and efficient access to global markets. He underscored the potential for collaboration in transit trade, energy, agriculture, and logistics, while highlighting the importance of building stronger business-to-business partnerships.
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan welcomed the initiative and expressed interest in advancing bilateral trade relations, acknowledging Gwadar significance as a future center for regional connectivity and commerce.
