GCCI Chairman Meets Azerbaijan Ambassador to Strengthen Trade Links

Islamabad – The Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) Group Chairman, Mir Naveed Jan Baloch, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to discuss opportunities for expanding bilateral trade and regional cooperation.

Mir Naveed Jan Baloch invited Azerbaijan to take advantage of business and investment prospects through Gwadar Port and Karachi Port, noting their strategic role as gateways for Central Asian and international trade. He emphasized the potential for enhanced collaboration in energy, logistics, and transit trade, and proposed the exchange of business delegations to build direct connections between the private sectors of both countries.

The Ambassador of Azerbaijan welcomed the proposal and expressed keen interest in exploring opportunities in Gwadar and Karachi. He also appreciated GCCI efforts to strengthen regional linkages and agreed that regular delegation exchanges would help boost trade and deepen economic ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
