GCCI Meets International Delegation on Gwadar Port Master Plan

Gwadar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) today hosted an important meeting with a five-member delegation working on the National Conceptual Ports Master Plan and Dwell Time Study, initiated by the Public Private Partnership Authority (P3A).

The delegation included Mr. Sascha Treppte (Kearney, Germany), Mr. Ali Shahid (Kearney, Pakistan), Mr. Mazahir Hussain Syed (P3A), Mr. Hassan Asif (MTBS), and Mr. Hassan Arif Bilgrami (MTBS).

Representing GCCI were President Jeehund Hoth, Senior Vice President Naeem Rasheed, Rashid Kalmati, Abdul Rasool, Asif Dashti, and Deputy Secretary General Khalid Saif.

The discussion focused on improving Gwadar Port’s efficiency, reducing dwell time, and creating long-term opportunities for trade, investment, and regional connectivity.

GCCI President Jeehund Hoth said: “Gwadar’s progress is directly linked to Pakistan’s economic future. GCCI will extend full cooperation to ensure the success of this important project.”

The delegation appreciated GCCI’s active role and assured that local business community inputs will be part of the study for sustainable outcomes.
