Gwadar, June 24, 2026: President of the Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Jeehund Hoth, visited the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) and held a meeting with the Chairman GPA to discuss enhancing trade between Pakistan and Iran through Gwadar Port.

President Jeehund Hoth was accompanied by Pakistani businessman Shoukat Ali Essazai and Iranian businessman Vahid Matouri. The meeting focused on promoting trade through the Gabd-250 Border and utilizing Gwadar Port as a key gateway for regional commerce.

During the discussion, the participants emphasized strengthening Pakistan-Iran trade relations, improving trade facilitation, and creating new opportunities for business, investment, and economic growth in the region.

Both sides agreed to continue coordination and support initiatives aimed at increasing trade volumes through Gwadar Port.
