GWADAR, May 11, 2026: Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a high-level Iranian delegation in Gwadar to promote bilateral trade, investment and regional economic cooperation between Pakistan and Iran.

The delegation, led by Mohammad Saeed Arbabai, was received by Jeehund Hoth, Secretary General Khalid Saif and former president Shams ul Haq Kalmati.

During the visit, the Iranian delegation toured Gwadar Port and highly appreciated its modern infrastructure, advanced port equipment and strategic importance for regional connectivity and international trade. Members of the delegation praised the facilities and termed Gwadar Port a key gateway for future economic growth in the region.

The delegation also held a meeting with chairman Gwadar Port Authority Noor Ul Haq, where matters related to bilateral trade, logistics, transit trade and investment opportunities were discussed in detail.

Business leaders termed the visit a successful initiative that would further strengthen Pakistan-Iran trade relations and open new avenues for commercial cooperation. The delegation’s visit is being viewed as an important step towards enhancing regional connectivity and boosting economic activities between the two neighbouring countries.
